Holy Family Home
HOLY FAMILY HOME
Holy Family Home provides supportive residential care and community-based services to homeless women and their children. The program promotes respect for life and strives to break cycles of poverty, abuse, and incomplete education. Holy Family Home encourages healing and healthy relationships by empowering women, supporting families, and promoting positive lifestyles.
In the St. Benedictine spirit of helping needy families without prejudice or judgment, every individual who enters Holy Family Home will be treated with kindness and as a welcome stranger. This program is designed to provide a supportive community environment that assists homeless women and families in transitioning out of homelessness and into permanent housing. Holy Family Home is a place of peace, community, respite, and the hospitality that renews and affirms a person’s dignity and worth. It is a place of new beginnings, with the purpose of helping homeless women and families find balance in the midst of tension and complexity, offering the tools and support needed to live the best life they can live.
Holy Family Home is not an emergency shelter, but a residential environment that encourages individuals to achieve long-term success. Residents work with professional staff setting goals regarding job training, employment, education, income, and personal growth to create their own program that will lead them to independence. We take a holistic approach to helping each person to achieve their full potential and seek to empower through teamwork, opportunities for leadership, and a supportive community environment.
