Counseling Services

Catholic Charities' St. Joseph's Counseling aims to provide accessible mental health care to the western half of Oklahoma, offering in-person and telehealth services across all 46 counties in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City. It provides short-term individual, couples and family counseling for mild to moderate symptoms, with referrals available for those requiring long-term care or with more severe symptoms. Established as St. Joseph's Counseling Center in 1990, the program provides services in English and Spanish in an accepting and caring environment. Contrary to common misconceptions, counseling isn't solely for severe mental illness; rather, it emphasizes seeking early intervention before a mental health crisis develops and acquiring coping strategies for lifelong well-being, empowering clients to flourish beyond counseling sessions.
