St. Joseph’s Family Counseling Center provides counseling, support, educational programs, consultation and referrals to community resources.
WE OFFER:
Community Education – Programs such as communication, developmental stages, mental health, parenting and grief/loss issues are offered to the parish.
Emergency Response Counseling – In the event of an emergency, counseling staff will provide onsite services to the parish or parish school.
Disaster Response Counseling – In the event of a disaster, Catholic Charities counseling and disaster services staff will respond immediately.
Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) and Mental Health First Aid (Adult and Youth Curriculum) – Suicide prevention and Mental Health First Aid training are available upon request to the community. Specially trained staff from St. Joseph’s Counseling Center provide these educational programs.
We adhere to the ethical standards of helping professions within the State of Oklahoma. Confidentiality is required by law. Mandatory reporting is required by law in certain situations such as child abuse and risk of hurting self or others.
REFERRALS
Clergy, parishioners, parochial schools and parish-based organizations serving persons who need professional assistance are welcome to refer persons to St. Joseph’s Counseling Center.
