CCUSA Housing Tour

Sponsored by Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City (CCAOKC),Trinity Gardens offers 119 units tailored for seniors through two separate developments on the same campus. Through innovative partnerships, CCAOKC has revitalized 58 existing units and constructed 21 new ones, utilizing a blend of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and Historic Tax Credits. Adjacent to this, Villa Isenbart provides an additional 40 independent senior units built through HUD's 202 program—Supportive Housing for the Elderly. Our commitment extends beyond bricks and mortar, fostering a vibrant environment where residents thrive.

Caritas Casitas is a Pilot Project designed as a community of 12 efficiency units strategically laid out on a 100 ft x 100 ft lot to encourage neighborly interactions while respecting individual privacy. Using Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU) built by BOXABL, our pocket neighborhood has been arranged in six two-story vertical duplexes. Utilizing BOXABL's innovative construction techniques, overall construction times are significantly reduced. As a pioneering "pilot" project, its success will set the stage for replication in rural areas where smaller affordable housing initiatives are greatly needed.  

The Sanctuary Women's Development Center is a day shelter for homeless women and children. Sanctuary focuses on the needs of women who live in shelters, although services are also available to those who are at risk of becoming homeless. Trained social workers assess participants' strengths and needs, including health and nutritional status, income and benefits, mental health status, and vocational/employment concerns. Our Day shelter offers a reprieve from the outside elements, access to showers and a laundry room, a computer lab, and food for those who come in hungry.
