Counseling Services Therapuetic and substance abuse counseling are provided by professionals licensed in the state of Oklahoma. Individuals, couples and families of all faiths and backgrounds are provided opportunities for therapuetic change and growth in an atmosphere of acceptance without judgement or prejudice.
Any person for which functional improvement, personal growth and/or situational change is possible with short-term outpatient counseling, can be admitted to the program. There is no fee for the initial assessment. In this initial assessment, program appropriateness is determined.
Counseling fees are charged for professional services on a sliding scale based on the individual’s ability to pay. No one will ever be refused services for inability to pay.
Emergency Financial Assistance Individuals and families may qualify for emergency assistance to meet immediate financial needs and promote self-sufficiency. Clients will be required to schedule a face-to-face assessment and may be asked to attend a budgeting class. Catholic Charities may work with other community agencies to meet the needs of the client.
Adopt A Child Christmas Program Children are “adopted” by sponsors who then provide Christmas gifts to them. Catholic Charities chairs the community-wide Christmas Task Force, which is designed to avoid duplication of services while ensuring all children who need assistance are served. To join this program, the child’s legal guardian must enroll him or her during the advertised application period.
